Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team for the summer. This would ideally suit a student or someone looking to fill in their summer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Prior experience in Housekeeping is highly desirable, though full training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of self-catering cottages and communal areas
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in Housekeeping is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
