Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our team as Front of house Team Members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant pub/dining environment, providing exceptional service and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Successful candidates will be passionate about food and hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and a friendly demeanour. Prior restaurant experience is essential, although additional training will be provided. This paid position is ideal for those looking to develop their skills in the food service industry while working in a dynamic team setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages in accordance with established standards
- Greet guests warmly and take food & beverage orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and promptness
- Assist with food service and ensure dishes meet quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar and service stations
- Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
- Manage multiple tables during busy periods with effective time management
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the Zonal POS system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant during shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment is ideal, however for the right person we can be flexible.
- Knowledge of Drinks preparation, Food serving techniques, and food safety standards (Ideal)
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills (Essential).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail (Essential).
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities (Essential).
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills (Essential).
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced environment (Essential)
