Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across our site. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse projects in a dynamic environment. The ideal applicant will possess hands-on experience with electrical systems and tools, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
Duties
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct fault‑finding, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise downtime and service impact.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Support commissioning, decommissioning, and system upgrades.
- Ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently in line with operational needs.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
- Support root cause analysis of electrical failures and incidents.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with current legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safe systems of work.
- Support inspections, and compliance activities.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Consulting with third-party companies when required.
- Willingness to Participate in a shared 24 hour on call rota.
Requirement
- professional electrical qualifications such as NVQ level 3/BS7671/18th Edition
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full UK driving licence.

- MEWP Registered
- Telehandler Registered
- Experience supporting antenna systems, RF facilities, or ground station environments.
- Experience with control systems, motors, or electro‑mechanical equipment.
- Experience with fire alarm installation and maintenance.
- Experience with PV solar arrays, inverters and wind turbines.
- Experience with emergency lighting & PAT testing
