Front of House Team Member (Server / Bar)

The Lamb is a small independent, food-led countryside pub with a focus on fresh, properly cooked food and warm, friendly service. We pride ourselves on creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining high standards in both the kitchen and front of house. As a small team, every member plays an important role in delivering a great experience for our customers.
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Front of House team member to join our crew.
What You’ll Do
- Take food and drink orders, including alcoholic drinks (applicants must be 18+)
- Run food and drinks to tables
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, welcoming approach
- Assist with bar service including pouring drinks
- Help maintain a clean and organised front of house environment
- Work independently and manage quieter shifts without supervision (applicants must be 18+)
Shifts
- 2-3 shifts per week
- Includes:
- One midweek evening
- Regular Friday / Saturday
Pay
- Minimum wage plus service charge paid weekly
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience
- Confidence serving tables and interacting with guests
- Ability to work independently when required
- Someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy restaurant environment
- Reliability – Saturday availability is required
Desirable
- Bar service experience
- Coffee-making skills
- Basic wine or cocktail knowledge
- Strong food knowledge
- Interest in learning and developing within hospitality

Requirements
- Hospitality experience preferred
- Must be 18+ due to alcohol service
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
