Castium Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Officer to support and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organise documentation within the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support the ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001 and assist with other management systems, including ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental).
- Manage document control, including the review, amendment, filing, archiving, and retrieval of quality documentation and records.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Record, maintain, and analyse quality data, performance metrics, and compliance records.
- Produce reports, monitor non-conformances, customer feedback, corrective actions, and opportunities for continual improvement.
- Work closely with the Business Director and colleagues across the organisation to maintain compliance and improve business processes.
- Help ensure the company continues to meet both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Proficient in the use of Apple Mac computers
- Experience using CRM or other business management systems is desirable.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards,particularly ISO 9001. Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleaguesacross the business.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a quality, compliance, office management, or administration role.
- Experience supporting internal or external audits.
- Experience developing or improving internal procedures and document controlsystems.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while remaining calm, organised, and professional.
- A recognised quality qualification, such as an IQA Certificate in Quality Management, CQI (Chartered Quality Institute) qualification, or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.
- Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards a relevant quality qualification would be advantageous.
