Tumble Tots Instructor (Self‑Employed)
Tumble Tots is the UK’s leading active physical play programme for children aged 6 months to 7 years. Our classes help little ones develop essential physical skills such as balance, agility, climbing and co‑ordination, while also nurturing their imagination, language development and social confidence.
We’re looking for an energetic, friendly and enthusiastic person who loves working with babies, toddlers and young children. If you enjoy being active, having fun at work and being part of a small, supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you.
Role Details
- Days: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (school term‑time only)
- Locations:
- Northern Football Club, Gosforth NE3 2DT (Wed & Thurs)
- St Peter’s Church Hall, Monkseaton NE25 8EX (Fri)
- Hours: 9:15am – 2:45pm
- Pay: £14.25 per hour
- Contract: Self‑employed
- Requirements:
- Must be 18+ (insurance requirement)
- No formal qualifications needed
- Enhanced DBS check required
Responsibilities
- Support children and their parent/carer in the safe and correct use of equipment
- Join in with circle time songs, rhymes and action activities
- Set up, move and dismantle equipment before, between and after classes
- Lift and carry gym equipment and move comfortably between floor‑based and standing activities
- Load and unload equipment from the van into the venue
- Progress to leading a class of up to 18 children and their accompanying adults
