Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor who enjoys leading from the front? We're recruiting for a hands-on leadership role with a growing business where you'll oversee the day-to-day running of a busy warehouse operation, ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, accuracy and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in motivating the team, improving processes and ensuring operational excellence across the warehouse.
What you'll be doing
- Supervising the daily operation of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately.
- Leading and motivating a team of warehouse staff, including allocating workloads and supporting development.
- Managing goods in, goods out and customer returns processes.
- Maintaining excellent stock accuracy through regular stock counts and investigations.
- Ensuring all customer orders are picked, packed and shipped to specification and on time.
- Overseeing warehouse housekeeping and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.
- Driving continuous improvements to warehouse processes and efficiency.
- Supporting logistics activities, freight bookings and shipping documentation.
- Taking responsibility for Health & Safety compliance, audits and promoting a positive safety culture.
- Monitoring warehouse consumables and ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained.
About you
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong people management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and warehouse management systems.
- Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and leading by example.
- A forklift licence, IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or Lean Continuous Improvement experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Pay: £32,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
