Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Self Employed skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Must be able to use own initiative and have the ability to solve problems if they occur.
Duties
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery where required
- Operate excavators up to 14tonne competently
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team members
- Maintain a safe and organised work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Be able to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to the role.
- Be able to work efficiently alone and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar position is essential This is a Self Employed position. Must have own transport Or be able to get to designated destination
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £17.00-£23.00 per hour
