About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable AD Plant Operative to join our farm-based anaerobic digestion plant. This is a hands-on, varied position for a dynamic person who takes pride in doing a job well, is comfortable working outdoors and is happy to get their hands dirty. You will support the safe, efficient and reliable day-to-day operation of the plant while helping the team achieve strong performance.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate a telehandler to move and load feedstock and materials safely.
· Monitor plant performance and record daily KPIs accurately.
· Carry out routine plant checks, inspections and basic fault-finding.
· Complete planned and reactive first-line maintenance tasks within your level of training and competence.
· Keep the plant, machinery and surrounding work areas clean, safe and well organised.
· Follow site procedures and all health, safety and environmental requirements.
· Identify and report faults, risks or performance issues promptly.
· Support the wider team with general plant duties as required.
· Participate in weekend working and the on-call night rota.
· Contribute ideas and take action to improve plant reliability, efficiency and performance.
About You

· Happy to undertake physical, outdoor and sometimes dirty work in all reasonable weather conditions.
· Able to keep clear and accurate daily records.
· Flexible about weekend duties, overtime and on-call nights.
· Committed to safe working practices.
Experience and Training
A current telehandler ticket and practical mechanical knowledge are preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
