About the Role
The Office Administrator is to support the day-to-day running of the office and operations. This varied role combines customer service, sales administration, scheduling, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage customer quotations and sales enquiries.
- Responsible for first stage customer service issues and resolutions (Only escalate to your line manager when absolutely essential)
- Handle customer communications via telephone and email
- The first response for incoming calls at all times
- Send advance confirmation templates and customer correspondence
- Prepare and distribute aftercare documentation following completed work
- Arrange vehicle and tool inspections and maintain associated records
- Assist with administrative support for health and safety compliance as required
- Scan & file delivery notes and maintain accurate company records
- Daily Scan and electronically file completed job sheets and orders
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, including uniforms, stationery & PPE
- Confirm daily and weekly work schedules with customers and the operational team
- Print, prepare, and organise job paperwork
- Review orders to ensure all required information and materials are complete before work commences
- Prepare and dispatch product samples to customers
- Assist with marketing and advertising activities, including updating promotional materials and supporting campaigns
- Provide general administrative support and undertake additional duties as required to support the business
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience in sales administration, scheduling, or customer service
- Knowledge of health and safety administration
- Experience working within a trade, construction, engineering, or manufacturing environment

Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5pm
Friday 8.00am to 4pm
Occasional requirement to work on a Saturday 8am to 1pm based on time 1.5 overtime.
Holiday entitlement 31 days including Bank Holidays
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
