Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team working mainly with stainless steel. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of bespoke high-quality products, ensuring safety standards and project specifications are met consistently. Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, MIG and Stick welding to join metal parts securely according to specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or fitting components accurately.
- Conduct quality inspections on welds and fabricated parts to ensure adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding, Stick welding, and MIG welding with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge of metal properties, fabrication processes, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Familiarity with stainless steel metal work and the use of various fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing setting.

Pay: £19.17-£20.24 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
