Overview:
We're looking for a reliable Mastic Applicator, to apply a watertight, clean and professional finish sealant to various interfaces internally and externally with high precision on a range of building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply high-quality mastic to new build and refurbishment projects
- Work efficiently and professionally on building sites and in domestic properties, liaising with other trades, site managers and home owners
- Ensure a clean, neat, and professional finish
- Work safely and adhere to site regulations at all times
- Travel to different locations within Essex and Suffolk
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mastic Applicator is preferable
- Right to work in the UK
- CSCS card
- Own vehicle and full UK driving licence
- Flexible availability – workdays may vary due to project demands
- Building site experience (desirable)
- SSSTS card (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Own PPE
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to keep a clean, organised work environment
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times
This is a self-employed position with work available on average 2 to 3 days a week, with potential for more. Due to the nature of the construction projects, flexibility is essential to meet project demand but happy to discuss working arrangements on a week to week basis.
