We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Advisor & Project Support to join our dynamic team. Your expertise will support project teams by providing guidance on HSEQ best practices, conducting assessments, and assisting with project documentation. Responsibilities
- Provide and lead a proactive contribution to the successful implementation of Company, Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality policies, processes and documents.
- Develop, manage and monitor HSEQ performance of the Company and advise directors of any potential issues.
- Develop, manage and monitor IMS, ISO, Class and pre-qualification certification commitments.
- Monitor and advise on all HSEQ matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual, including client-specific, requirements and good industry practice.
- Maintain and regularly review all related documentation, issue updates and ensure documentation is easily available to all personnel.
- Conduct internal audits with relevant personnel to evaluate effectiveness of systems and procedures and identify and assist with implementing improvements.
- Attend any Client, Supplier or External Third-Party Audits and carry out all remedial actions identified following audit completion.
- Take ownership of the AINCR process, ensuring that the correct AINCR processes and procedures are followed. This includes investigation to establish root causes and implementation of measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control etc.
- Conduct monthly Town Hall meetings and encourage involvement from colleagues and teammates.
- Monitor and maintain employee training matrix and arrange necessary training courses to ensure validity of certificates is maintained for all members of the Team.
- Maintain awareness of evolving industry HSEQ regulations and best practice and relevant applications within the Company.
- Assist leadership team in developing the Company’s QHSE plan and ensure its implementation and monitor its status.
- Develop and maintain Company’s QHSE KPI’s and Objectives with input from relevant parties.
- Provide training as and when required.
- Instil safety awareness to employees by leading by example and promoting best practice at all times with regards to safety at work in all areas.
- Assist in compiling tender and project proposal documentation.
- Act as focal point for enquires for tenders and projects and pass to relevant team members. Ensure that all enquires are responded to in a timely manner.
- Provide project administrative support to project managers & Directors.
- Provide document control for projects.
- Accurately process and file documentation to the business server in accordance with business policies and procedures.
- Carry out any other duties commensurate with this post as directed by the Directors.
Requirements
- National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Internal Auditing Qualification.
- Lead Auditor Qualification.
- Good knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and certification process and Class Approval process.
- Passion for best practice and delivering a robust safety culture.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Excel, Outlook and SharePoint and of Adobe for creating and editing pdf documentation.
- Ability to cope and manage priorities and adapt to changing timelines and schedules.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Well-equipped to working in a fast-paced environment and driven to achieve targets.
- Proven work ethic, initiative and time management skills.
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in HSEQ and Sales/Project Administration role/s

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
