We are looking for a passionate and motivated Early Years Educator to join our setting and become part of our nursery team. We are a day nursery in Ipswich who love outdoor learning, working with Loose parts and natural resources.
We are open 51 weeks of the year and the weekly hours are 36hrs - 38hrs a week.
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external professionals regarding children's needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
- Drive initiatives that support the overall development of early childhood education within the facility.
Experience
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A background in nursery settings is essential
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
