Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis
- Assist in diagnosing conditions using medical imaging techniques and applying anatomy knowledge to inform treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and lifestyle choices to promote long-term health
- Maintain detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist or Therapist with relevant regulatory bodies
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to oral structures and systemic health connections
- Experience with Dentally or digital dentistry tools is a plus
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including radiograph acquisition and interpretation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients
