Duties include visiting Clients in their own homes:
- Supporting with all aspects of Personal Care
- Support the development and implementation of personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Support with meal preparation ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to senior staff
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living space
- Support residents with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Driving clients to appointments or outings when required
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care records are required
- Experience in using care plans to deliver personalised support is advantageous
- A caring attitude, patience, and excellent communication skills are vital for building trust and rapport with residents
- A Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
At Norton Nurses, we believe that quality care takes time. That's why we provide a minimum of 45 minutes for every care visit, giving you the time to build meaningful relationships with the people you support, deliver truly person centred care, and never feel rushed. We want our carers to leave each visit knowing they have made a positive difference, rather than feeling pressured by unrealistic time constraints.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
