Job Role: Welder
Location: Heywood, Greater Manchester
Shift: Day Shifts
We’re looking for a Welder to join an engineering business in Heywood.
This is a role suited to someone with welding experience and a driving licence, as you will be carrying out welding, fabrication and repair work on a range of heavy equipment.
What’s on offer?
- £15 - £15.50 per hour
- Mon – Fri | 7am – 5pm
- Every 3rd Saturday | 7:00am – 2:00pm
- Plenty of overtime available
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

What will you be doing as a Welder?
- Carrying out welding and fabrication work on skips, conveyors, excavators and plant equipment
- Completing mainly repair-based work on mild and hardened steel
- Using stick and MIG welding processes
- Working with materials from 2mm – 25mm
- Using lathes, milling, bending and forming equipment
- Supporting LOLER inspections for lifting equipment
- Following general health and safety procedures
- Driving to other company sites and customer sites when required
What will you need?
- Previous welding experience
- Driving licence
