The Eden is opening in the heart of Melton Mowbray, bringing together speciality coffee, fresh brunch, cocktails, wine and events in one beautifully designed all-day venue.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Team Leader to help lead our opening team and support our Venue Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. You'll be leading by example, working alongside the team and helping shape the culture of an exciting new independent business.
About the role
As Team Leader you'll help oversee the day-to-day running of The Eden, ensuring every guest receives outstanding service from morning coffee through to evening cocktails.
You'll be confident running shifts, supporting and motivating the team, maintaining high standards and stepping up whenever needed.
As an all-day venue, every member of our team is trained across coffee, food and bar service, making every day varied and rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Leading shifts and supporting the General Manager
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Coaching and developing the team
- Opening and closing the venue
- Cash handling and cashing up
- Stock control and ordering support
- Ensuring excellent presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue
- Maintaining food safety and licensing standards
- Helping deliver private events and evening service
- Creating a positive, supportive working environment
We're looking for someone who
- Has previous hospitality supervisory or leadership experience
- Leads by example with a positive attitude
- Thrives in a busy environment
- Enjoys developing and motivating others
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality
