Location: Rainbow Day Nursery Harlow Ltd based in the grounds of the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow.
Pay: Minimum wage upwards , Monthly pay
Schedule:
7.5 hours a day,
Monday to Friday
37.5 hours a week
No weekends
Overtime available
Qualifications: Level 3 qualified in Early Childhood, Education and Childcare
Knowledge: A sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Safeguarding,
First Aid and all legislative requirements to work in Early years. Training will be provided.

Job Description:
We have an exciting new vacancy that has opened up within the Rainbow Day Nursery Harlow Ltd.
We are a small work-based nursery situated in the Hospital grounds providing a safe, nurturing, caring and educational environment for the Hospital staff’s children.
We are looking for a qualified Level 3 nursery nurse. You must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early years childhood, education and childcare.
The position is for a full-time vacancy working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You will receive 4 weeks holiday, including all Bank Holidays are paid holiday. Nursery is closed. A shift pattern of 7.5 hours a day working between the hours of 7:00 – 17:30. Overtime is available.
Uniform tops and fleece are provided upon starting with us and training and courses are available to help your personal and professional development.
You would use your own initiative as well as being able to work effectively and efficiently, bringing in fresh ideas to our long serving established team. We are all happy to welcome new ideas and suggestions.
You would promote and provide a homely, friendly environment where the children can learn, develop new skills and learn about and explore their learning and development using the inside and outside environment.
You would have a passion for working with young children and be able to plan, organise and implement age-appropriate activities to help promote children’s learning and development in all areas.
You would be able to carry out and maintain high standards of care, complying with all policies and procedures and creating a stimulating educational space for all ages of children.
You would need to be adaptable to work with children of all ages between 3 months to 5 years covering in all rooms when needed but being based in a room to help build strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents. Having good communication skills to help build these relationships.
To be able to support the children’s emotional well being by providing comfort and a safe, secure environment for them to feel comfortable and reassured in.
A sound knowledge of the Early years Foundation Stage, Safeguarding and all Legislative requirements for working with children.
Being able to monitor and assess children’s progress and record an accurate record of your key children’s development.
