Are you highly organised, solutions-focused, and looking for an exciting role where no two days are the same?
Churchill Freight Services is seeking a Pallex Operations Planner to join our growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with logistics experience, but we also welcome applications from graduates and motivated individuals looking to start a career in transport, logistics, or supply chain management.
Full training will be provided on our systems and processes, making this an ideal role for someone eager to learn and develop within a successful transport business.
About the Role:
You'll play a key role in coordinating pallet network operations, planning delivery routes, supporting drivers, and ensuring freight moves efficiently through our network.
As part of our Planning and Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our Pallex freight network activities. You'll work closely with drivers, customers, depot partners, and colleagues to ensure deliveries are planned effectively and customer expectations are exceeded.
This is a varied role combining transport planning, operational coordination, customer communication, administration, and there will be hands-on yard support to load and unload freight, including operating a fork-lift truck.

Create cost-effective and efficient delivery routes.
-
Monitor delivery progress and track performance throughout the day.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
-
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-
Confidence working with computer systems and learning new software.
-
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
-
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in transport planning, logistics, freight, supply chain, or distribution - would be an advantage but it not essential.
- Forklift experience or a desire to learn as training can be provided.
