Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Gas Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable heating solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair gas heating systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Carry out basic carpentry and assembly work related to heating system installations
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults using specialised knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation and company policies
Experience
- Proven experience as a Gas Heating Engineer or similar role within the heating or plumbing industry
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems
- Experience working with commercial driving licences is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs

Pay: £30,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
