What you will be doing:
- Deliver planned and reactive diving and maritime works in line with client requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
- Carry out diving operations in accordance with approved dive plans, industry regulations, and safe systems of work.
- Support the successful delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Follow company diving procedures, Portsmouth Diving Instructions, and all applicable diving regulations and approved codes of practice.
- Work closely with Diving Supervisors and the wider Diving & Maritime team to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date diving records, including personal dive logs and certification requirements.
- Ensure fitness for diving is maintained and all relevant medical certification remains current.
- Operate safely and confidently in challenging environments, including underwater operations, confined spaces, and working at height.
- Represent the business professionally when interacting with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a flexible, team-focused approach by supporting a range of operational activities as required.
What you will bring:
- A valid, in-date First Aid at Work Certificate and be competent to manage medical emergencies.
- Medically “in-date” for the roles to be undertaken.
- A sound knowledge of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 & ACoPs L104 (Current Version).
- A general understanding of Ships Underwater Husbandry.
- A general understanding of underwater civil engineering techniques.
- An understanding of MS Office applications.
About you:
- Hold an HSE approved Surface Supplied Certification (minimum) or equivalent.
- Willingness to undertake specific training as required.
- Holding a 3.1u inspection certification is advantageous
- You should hold a Full UK Driving Licence
