About Us:
We are a well established, family run business specialising in the manufacture of high quality woodburning and multi fuel stoves. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Support Administrator/Assistant to aid efficiency and sales within our office.
The Role:
This is a varied role that requires someone who is confident communicating with customers, organised in their approach to work, and comfortable handling a range of responsibilities across sales, dispatch, administration, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
· Supporting sales activities and processing customer orders
· Assisting with dispatch and logistics coordination
· Preparing and processing invoices using our invoicing system
· Managing order information and dispatch records using Microsoft Excel
· Packing and preparing small orders for dispatch when required
· Providing general administrative support across the business
· Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
What we are looking for in a candidate:
· Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel
· Experience using invoicing, order management, or business software systems
· Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
· Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Previous administration, customer service, sales support, or office experience is desirable
· Social media/digital marketing experience desirable, but not essential
