About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our Fire
and Security team. This is a field-based role responsible for the installation,
maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of automatic door systems
across customer sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and
in full compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer
requirements. We value technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and a strong
commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair a range of automatic door systems,
including sliding, swing, revolving, and specialist access doors
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently, minimising downtime for
customers
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with manufacturers’
recommendations and BS EN 16005 standards
- Perform safety inspections, adjustments, testing, and commissioning of
door systems to ensure full compliance
- Provide on-site technical advice and professional support to clients
- Accurately complete all job-related documentation, including service
reports and parts usage records
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment on site and
within the company vehicle
