As a Breakfast Chef, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests each day. Working at Chef de Partie level, you will take responsibility for a busy breakfast section, ensuring high standards of preparation, presentation and service, whilst supporting the wider kitchen brigade. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys producing quality food at volume without compromising on standards.
OUR IDEAL HERO WILL HAVE
AAA Level 2 or equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or 1 year as a Chef de Partie
Experience within a busy breakfast operation or high-volume kitchen environment
An understanding of HACCP
A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a 4/5-star hotel and/or large reputable restaurant
Experience leading and supporting a team of kitchen staff
Food Hygiene Level 2
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prepare effectively for busy service periods

Take responsibility for the preparation, cooking and presentation of breakfast dishes in line with departmental standards
Ensure all breakfast mise en place and preparation is completed to support a smooth and efficient service
Deliver consistently high-quality food during busy breakfast periods whilst maintaining excellent presentation standards
Be responsible for ensuring the full, safe operation of all equipment and stock in accordance with health and safety requirements
Order food items as required from the dry store and support effective stock control procedures
Ensure all food items delivered are received, checked against invoices and stored correctly
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in maintaining kitchen standards and developing junior members of the team
Minimise food waste through effective planning, stock rotation and preparation
Maintain excellent food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
