Accounts Manager | Manchester | £40,000 - £48,000 DOE
Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm who are looking to recruit a Accounts Manager to join their growing team in Manchester.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients from start to finish, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 105
- Preparing Corporation Tax returns
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Holding client meetings and providing accounting and business advice
- Managing a portfolio of clients end-to-end
- Dealing with client queries and providing a high level of service
- Personal Tax experience would be desirable but is not essential
About You
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients end-to-end
- Strong accounts preparation and client relationship management experience
- Good knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105
- Confident holding client meetings and communicating directly with clients
- Experience preparing Corporation Tax returns
- Personal Tax experience desirable but not essential
- ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or QBE
