Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our friendly, professional team. Responsibilities
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service delivery
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen environment
- Assist in managing inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise operational efficiency
- Involvement in new menu items in collaboration with management, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Monitor food quality throughout preparation and presentation stages to uphold brand standards
Experience
- Proven experience within a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, and restaurant operations
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work within a team
- Demonstrable understanding in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards recognised within the hospitality industry
- Previous experience working in hospitality settings such as restaurants or hotels is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
