Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mobile Pharmacist to join our healthcare team, delivering essential pharmacy services directly to patients in various clinical settings. Duties
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and legal regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review patient medication plans and optimize therapy effectiveness
- Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions to promote adherence
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and current medications
- Administer medications in clinical or emergency settings when required, ensuring precise dosage and documentation
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensed, patient interactions, and clinical notes for compliance and quality assurance
- Travel between designated locations to deliver pharmacy services efficiently, ensuring timely patient care delivery
Skills
- Proven experience working in ICU settings or other acute care environments demonstrating advanced clinical skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to understand complex medication interactions
- Expertise in medication administration techniques across various routes (oral, intravenous, intramuscular, etc.)
- Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently in a mobile setting while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records for documentation purposes
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing environments and prioritize patient needs effectively

Pay: £26.00-£28.00 per hour
