Job Title: Labourer / Trainee WSP and Leak Detection Engineer

The Role:
They are looking for a full time Labourer/Trainee WSP and Leak Detection Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a practical, hands-on environment but also offers career progression and development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:

Attend Water Supply Pipe (WSP) and leak detection appointments as directed.

Assist with leak detection investigations using a variety of specialist methods and equipment.

Support engineers in identifying leaks in the most effective and cost-efficient manner.

Carry out property health checks and assist with assessing water systems.

Assist with pipe repairs and remedial works where appropriate.

Work as part of a two-person team on nationwide WSP projects and investigations.

Help prepare and submit technical reports and site documentation using company templates.

Support the quoting and completion of WSP, leak detection, and repair works.

Communicate professionally with customers, providing clear explanations of work carried out.

Build positive working relationships with insurers, loss adjusters, claims management companies, and other stakeholders.

Assist with maintaining and caring for specialist equipment, ensuring it is serviced and calibrated when required.

Adhere to company health and safety procedures at all times.

Maintain a professional and organised approach while working on customer sites.
Requirements:

Practical, hands-on approach.

Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Basic plumbing knowledge or experience with water systems and repairs.

An understanding of building construction would be advantageous.

Thermography (minimum Level 1)

Ability to work as part of a team and occasionally travel as required.

Full UK driving licence preferred.
