Job Advert: Temporary Office Administrator
Location: Coulsdon (Office-based only)
Hours: Part - Time (24 hours/week) – 3 days per week.
Contract: Temporary, with the possibility of extending into a long-term position with increased hours.
Hourly Rate: £16 per hour.
We are Prolec Electrical & Compliance Solutions, a commercial electrical contractor delivering high-end compliance and fit-out projects across London and the Southeast. We’re currently supporting a major client on a large, ongoing contract and are looking for a Temporary Office Administrator to help support our team during this busy period.
This is a fully office-based role in Coulsdon and is not available for remote or hybrid working.
What You will Be Doing:
This is a hands-on, varied admin role with a strong focus on supporting the delivery of a major contract. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data entry into internal systems, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Reviewing, organising, and compiling documentation submitted by engineers (document control)
- Supporting with recruitment admin, including CV tracking, onboarding checklists, and liaising with candidates
- Assisting with general office administration, such as filing, scheduling, and ad hoc support to the operations team
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an admin or office support role
- Confident with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working at pace
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills
- Experience in construction, engineering or similar industries is a bonus (but not essential)
