Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food production
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Oversee food presentation, ensuring consistency and visual appeal
- Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong background in food production, cooking, and kitchen management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene and sanitation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Experience in menu development, food presentation, and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with hospitality industry operations and serving procedures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
- A passion for culinary innovation and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Pay: £12.21-£730.22 per hour
