Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles.
Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical problems effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
Must have experience with the following (in commercial vehicles):
- Electrics
- Servicing
- Timing Belts
- Fault Finding
- Quality Checks
- Snagging
- Tow Bars
- Wheels / Bars / Suspension
- Experience with heating systems in camper vans an advantage
Salary dependent on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
