Food Assistant / Barista

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Food Assistant to join our busy coffee shop team.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and serving fresh food to a high standard.
- Assisting with food preparation and maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.
- Providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Operating the till confidently and accurately, including handling cash and card payments.
- Keeping the coffee shop clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Supporting the team wherever needed.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working in a coffee shop, café, or similar fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Previous experience using a till and handling customer transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team ethic.
- Flexibility to work shifts across all 7 days of the week, including weekends, as required by the rota.
Desirable experience:
- Previous barista training or coffee-making experience.
- Experience using a Merrychef oven.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
