Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills further.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during service and food preparation
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Familiarity with serving procedures and guest service excellence is preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the dining area

Pay: £11.00-£13.50 per hour
