Contract Co-Ordinator – Invictus Stores, TATA Steel, Port Talbot.
Runtech Ltd is looking for an experienced and dedicated contract Manager to join our Invictus Project delivery team, based at our Port Talbot site.
This role involves site based work at TATA Steel Port Talbot and will be responsible for managing a small but critical team in the safe, efficient delivery of all material required for both the Electric Arc Furnace and Pickle Line builds. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership, engagement and organisation skills to motivate the team to adapt an evolving delivery schedule, whilst maintaining the safety priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and champion SHEQ performance for the operation.
- Manage training and compliance of teams ensuring TSI, POWRA, COSHH, HAVS, D&A, and other standards are maintained.
- Ensure all safety communications are delivered and recorded.
- Manage incident/accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance is maintained relating to all assets (inspections, servicing and defects).
- Oversee annual health screening, prescription safety glasses, first aid/Fire coverage and facilities safety as appropriate to the site/department.
- Ensure company audit process across all delivery areas of the project are carried out, documented and actions followed up.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and support business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
Key attributes
- Proven operations leadership in haulage or heavy industry.
- Strong H&S legislation knowledge (COSHH, LOLER/PUWER, HAVS etc).
- Experience managing assets/fleet in high compliance environments.
- Strong data and KPI reporting skills.
Essential Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Leadership qualification (preferably equivalent ILM4 minimum)
- IOSH or NEBOSH

- Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will be subject to our induction process that will include drug & alcohol testing and vehicle licence check.
