Lydlynch Pre-School are recruiting. We are looking for a full time Early Years Practitioner to work Monday to Friday, 8.45-3.30, term time only.
The successful applicant will have a FULL and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare and preferably experience working in early years.

- Have you got the ability to be able to change your role at the drop of a hat? Can you turn from a princess to a dinosaur in seconds?
- Do you take pleasure in singing nursery rhymes and listening to songs that get stuck in your head for days? Please note that the ability to be able to sing in tune is not essential.
- Are you prepared to become a professional wiper of noses and bottoms, not with the same wipe, and not be too sensitive to smells!?
- Can you laugh at jokes that aren’t funny or are illogical whilst also being able to control your laughter at things that aren’t meant to be hilarious?
- Would you be able to read a book from all different angles in the correct order, maintaining your place, whilst answering twenty something questions?
- Do you have an imagination that helps you to consume copious amounts of cups of tea, eat meals made for you from sand/mud/playdough, and be able to see the magic in the children’s creations?
- Can you channel the flare of Joe Wicks in the kitchen to prepare snack and his enthusiasm as we read Burpee Bears WITH the actions!?
- Have the creativity to plan activities for all age groups and needs of children that will engage their interest and attention, turning a loo roll into a masterpiece!
