Gentech are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Banbridge who are expanding on their team of Yardman
Duties
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (valid forklift license required)
- Load and unload deliveries, including raw materials and finished bakery products
- Move pallets and stock between warehouse and production areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of yard, loading docks, and storage areas
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, washing down areas, and waste disposal
- Assist with stock rotation and proper storage of ingredients and packaging
- Ensure all health, safety, and food safety standards are followed
- Support warehouse and production teams as needed
- Report any equipment faults or safety hazards to management
Requirements
- Valid forklift license (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Willingness to perform cleaning and general maintenance duties
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
