We are looking for a friendly, organised and commercially minded Property Maintenance & Appliance Repairs Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for looking after and developing our estate and letting agent clients.
You will earn commission, so we are looking for someone who is motivated not only to provide an excellent service to our existing clients, but also to help develop accounts, strengthen client relationships and grow the amount of work we receive.
The role will mainly involve coordinating repairs and replacements of landlord-owned domestic appliances (white goods) in tenanted properties. You will be the key point of contact between estate/letting agents, tenants, engineers and suppliers, making sure every job is handled professionally from the initial report through to completion.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving repair requests from estate and letting agents, including jobs raised through Fixflo
- Contacting tenants to arrange suitable appointments
- Booking repair jobs with our engineers and managing their diaries
- Reviewing reported appliance faults and gathering the information needed before an engineer attends
- Ordering appliance parts and monitoring their delivery
- Ordering replacement appliances when a repair is not practical or economical
- Keeping clients and tenants updated throughout the repair process
- Following up on outstanding jobs and making sure repairs are completed promptly
- Building strong relationships and a good rapport with our existing estate and letting agent clients
- Developing existing accounts and helping to generate additional work
- Identifying opportunities to bring new estate and letting agents on board
- Providing a high standard of customer service at all times
- Keeping accurate records of jobs, parts, appointments and communications
- Helping to resolve any issues that arise and ensuring clients receive a reliable, professional service
Commission & Earning Potential
This position is commission based, meaning your earning potential will be directly linked to the success of the accounts you manage and develop.
We want someone who will treat this area of the business as their own providing a great service, retaining clients, developing relationships and helping increase the volume of work coming into the company.
The better you look after and grow the accounts, the greater your earning potential.
Full details of the commission structure will be discussed during the interview process.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple jobs at the same time
- Have excellent telephone and written communication skills
- Be confident speaking with estate agents, landlords, tenants, engineers and suppliers

- Be comfortable learning about common faults, parts and appliance terminology
- Have good computer and administration skills
- Be confident building and maintaining business relationships
