Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a strong work ethic, ensuring environments are safe, welcoming, and well-presented. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any repairs required
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
- Once a week carry out a jet wash cleaning of the outdoor area
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled during weekdays or weekends as required
