Overview
Victoria Garage is a family-owned business, established in 1964, with a strong reputation for quality service and customer care. We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician to join our friendly and professional team in Whitstable. If you are an experienced technician with a passion for vehicle maintenance we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- MOT Tester certification (class 4 & 7) an advantage.
- NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems in vehicles.
- Proficiency in using power tools for various repair tasks.
- Competence in handling hand tools effectively and safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Full UK driving licence.
