About the Job;
Previous recruitment experience is not required. As a Recruiter at Emerald, you'll benefit from industry-leading training and coaching throughout your career, beginning with a comprehensive training programme designed to equip you with all the skills and tools needed to succeed.
While recruitment experience is not essential, we would particularly welcome applications from individuals with a sales, business development, customer service, or relationship-building background, as many of the skills are highly transferable.
What we do ask is that you are prepared to work hard, have a genuine passion and interest in the recruitment sector, thrive in a target-driven environment, and are as relentlessly committed to your own learning and development as we are.
Typical work activities of our consultants include:
- Headhunting the best talent in your marketplace
- Generating leads, referrals and other commercial information
- Ensure the security of all private and confidential information and data at all times
- Build strong working relationships with candidates / clients by attending meetings and leading client visits for the area to ensure future and repeat business and to strengthen brand image
- Generate referrals and new clients from market knowledge and business awareness
- Operate as a consultative partner for both clients and candidates, providing expert recruitment advice
- Negotiate, offer terms and conditions and business development as required
