- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, pressing, relaxing, treatments, keratin treatments, hair extensions (weave on), cornrow, single plaits, colouring and styling hair.
- Perform consultations with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling
and- Mentoring training junior stylists
- Manage inventory and supplies in the salon
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, barbering, and makeup application as needed
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
- Assist with front desk duties when necessary
Braider
- Must be able to do cornrows, plaits etc
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license required
- Proven experience as a hair stylist or braider in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of hair care products, tools, and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and creativity in hair styling
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
