Talgarth Bakery requires a Production Assistant.
The job will entail some Delivery Driving to cover holidays and sickness within the driving team.
The job entails preparing ingredients such as salad, meats, sandwich fillings and make sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, etc. to specified recipes. Allocation of stock, getting orders ready for customers. You should also maintain the required Hygiene Standards - cleaning of rooms and utensils.
Working hours are job and finish. Bank holidays are normal working days.Good timekeeping, the ability to work on your own initiative and work at an efficient and constant pace are key attributes. You must be a Team player and be able to multi-task - always observing product and food safety standards whilst doing the job. Good kitchen knife skills are desirable and you must have a high level of personal hygiene. Good basic reading and numeracy skills & a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude to work are also needed. Bright energetic positive people are ideally suited to this role. A good team spirit means everything.
