We are looking for a qualified, experienced level 3 practitioner to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team. We require our candidate to start ready for our busy autumn term.
This position is approx 25 hours per week working from 8.00am - 1.00pm term time only
We are one of Coventry's oldest and most experienced nurseries. We offer full/part time care and education between the hours of 07.45am - 5.45pm. We are based in an area of disadvantage and many of our children require extra support. We are looking for a practitioner with exceptional skills who are going to enjoy a challenge and give our children the extra support they need to become confident learners.
Our candidates will:
- hold a relevant level 3 qualification, alongside experience within a nursery setting
- Be enthusiastic, passionate, motivated and have a positive attitude and a good role model to educating children
- Have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, child development and the EYFS
-Have a commitment to self development and keep knowledge and skills updated
-The ability to co-operate and support others in a team
- You will be honest, reliable and punctual.
Your role will include:
-Supporting children learning through play
-Act as a keyworker to a group of children and secure relationships with their families
- Support the safeguarding, health, well being and security of the children
- Professionalism, effective teamwork, high quality practice, flexibility and the promotion of British values
-Maintain effective partnerships with management, colleagues, parents, children and other professionals
