The Wensleydale Hotel & The Tack Room Restaurant & Bar is an independent boutique hotel and restaurant located in the heart of the historic market town of Middleham, North Yorkshire.
Following significant investment and continued growth, we are looking to expand our hospitality team and are seeking enthusiastic, passionate and customer-focused individuals to join us.

The Role
This is a varied and rewarding hospitality role where no two days are the same. You'll work alongside a friendly and supportive team to deliver exceptional service across our hotel, restaurant and bar.
Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering warm, friendly and professional restaurant and bar service
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Welcoming hotel guests and assisting with check-in and check-out
- Managing reservations and responding to guest enquiries
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the business
- Carrying out stock checks and inventory management
- Assisting with cellar management and stock rotation
- Opening and closing the bar and restaurant
- Supporting, coaching and mentoring junior team members (where appropriate)
- Working together with colleagues to ensure every guest enjoys an outstanding experience
About You

- Can work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Previous restaurant, bar or hotel experience is preferred, but attitude, personality and a willingness to learn are equally important
