Summary
We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our dynamic team at Onyx Events. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service during our corporate events. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience for our clients and their guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other refreshments to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during events.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure seamless execution of beverage service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong food preparation skills with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy event environments.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
