Freedom of Movement is a premium South African lifestyle brand specialising in leather goods, apparel and footwear. We are opening our first flagship UK store this summer. We're looking for a dynamic, experienced Store Manager to lead the team from day one - someone who can build a team, deliver a brilliant customer experience, and help shape a new brand's presence in the UK.
What you'll do:
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Oversee daily store operations
- Manage stock levels, organise merchandising displays, and maintain visual standards
- Supervise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance through regular feedback
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and customer engagement
- Provide training and development for team members
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Maintain accurate records for sales, stock control, and staff attendance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Strong retail management experience essential, ideally in fashion or lifestyle retail
- Proven supervisory experience with a track record of leading successful teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable managing both floor and light warehouse operations
- Familiarity with retail POS systems (knowledge of Shopify POS advantageous)
- A genuine love for fashion, trends and styling advantageous
