Abbeydale Sports Club was incorporated in 1911 and has grown into a thriving community
sporting hub covering cricket, hockey, squash, and more — catering for all ages and
abilities. The Dale Sports Bar is the social centrepiece of the club: open to members and
non-members alike, it boasts 6 screens broadcasting Sky Sports and TNT Sports, stunning
outdoor seating overlooking the grass pitches, and a reputation for exceptional atmosphere
and service.

Chef
We are looking for a confident Chef to join our growing kitchen team. You will lead or support
service across a high-volume operation, ensuring food quality, kitchen standards, and team morale
remain consistently high.
Ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen
- Strong prep and service skills under pressure
- Understanding of food hygiene and compliance standards
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Kitchen Assistant
Support the chef team throughout service — from prepping ingredients to plating dishes and
maintaining a clean, organised workspace. A fantastic entry-level opportunity with real progression
potential.
Ideal candidate:
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Comfortable working at pace in a team environment
- Basic food hygiene awareness (training provided)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Kitchen Porter
The backbone of any great kitchen. Keep equipment clean, supplies stocked, and the environment
safe and hygienic throughout service. A vital role in our team with consistent hours and a great
working culture.
Ideal candidate:
- Reliable and hard-working with good attention to detail
- Ability to work at pace during busy service periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Previous kitchen or cleaning experience preferred but not essential
