Job Vacancy: Treework Groundsman (Full-Time)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Groundsman / second climber to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. It is a varied role which involves sharing climbing work, hedgework and also some landscaping. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a variation of work as part of a team of 5-6 people spread across 2 teams
Key Responsibilities
· Provide ground support to climber during tree works.
· Operate and maintain chainsaws and associated equipment.
· Manage brash and timber safely and efficiently.
· Ensure worksites are safe and tidy.
· Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused working environment.
Essential Requirements
· Relevant LANTRA qualifications including:
· - Chainsaw maintenance & cross-cutting.
· - Aerial rescue.
· Full UK driving licence.
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role.
Desirable Skills/Experience
· First Aid at Work certificate (with +F desirable).
· Previous experience working in tree surgery and ground work operations
