Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Production Operative specialising in the powder coating sector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various stages of the powder coating process, ensuring high-quality preparation for high-quality finishes and efficient workflow. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces and components for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and sanding as required.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assemble, disassemble, or modify parts.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to adhere to health and safety standards.
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure correct application of coatings and assembly accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in factory operations, powder coating, or general industrial labour is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment with attention to safety protocols.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to powder coating techniques and industrial processes. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in industrial finishing processes within a supportive team environment.
